RACING CAREER

uk10Josh Scott began racing in 1999 in Karts at the Newcastle (Australia) Go-Kart Club and finished fourth in his debut race.

Over recent years, Josh has tasted great success through a number of categories.

In 2004 Josh came second in the Queensland State Titles and 2nd in the Premier State Cup racing a BRM in the Junior Clubman Series.

2005 Josh has success winning the JICA title as well as the Vic. and New South Wales State Championship in Junior Clubman.

In 2006, Josh, in his first season in Formula Ford, had a good year winning his first race after just three rounds and becoming the youngest to win an AFFC race at 16yrs, then becomming the youngest to achieve a pole position at Phillip Island. He also posted three lap records - Oran Park, Symmons Plains and Phillip Island - and achieved his goal of finishing in the top ten at position 9.

In 2007 Josh's second year in Formula Ford he was a member of the CAMS Rising Star Squad racing with Borland Racing Developments posting two lap records. This season he finished 6th overall.

2008 saw Josh move to the UK to further his racing career by contesting the Formula Renault UK Championship - a series that was the stepping stone for current Formula One world champion Kimi Raikkonen and aspiring champions Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen. 

Back in the UK in 2009 with a new team, Josh is looking to build on his rookie year in the Formula Renault UK Championship and make his mark on the international racing scene.
